• Step 1 choose your domain name:

This is where sometimes the nightmare begins. The world is a big place and whilst you might think that your name is unique alas in most cases there are great minds that think alike and the domain name has gone.

Try and keep it simple www.Iamawebdesigner4youhere.co.uk is not going to do you any favours.

Hyphens, Underscores and numeric characters can also cause confusion

• Step 2 Content:

ROI Design do not write the content for your website but please consider the following:

• Think carefully about what you say.

• Too much content may put off people.

• Keep it concise and to the point

• Who are you

• What have you got

• Why should they choose you

Nobody needs to know your dogs name and where you had your last holiday leave that for when you speak to them !

• Step 3 Logos & Colours:

Your website should be a replication of your hard copy brochures.

• Get your logo / graphics from your printers

• Decide on a colour theme if it's different

• If it's a new logo consider keeping the colours to a minimum as it will save on printing costs
